Solar Street Lights
Self-contained lighting units that charge by day and illuminate by night without grid cabling.

What it is
A solar street light combines a PV module, battery, charge controller, LED driver and luminaire — either as one integrated housing or as separate components on a pole with a battery box.
Where it is used
- Internal roads in layouts and gated communities
- Factory perimeters, yards and parking areas
- Campuses, parks and pathways
- Village and municipal roads without grid lighting
Key specifications
- Configurations
- All-in-one integrated units or semi-integrated panel-plus-battery-box systems
- Luminaire
- LED with driver; wattage selected from the lighting design
- Operation
- Dusk-to-dawn sensing, with timed or dimming profiles to extend autonomy
- Pole and foundation
- Pole height and foundation designed for luminaire load and local wind speed
- Design inputs
- Road width, required illuminance, pole spacing and autonomy days
Specifications and warranty
- Lumen output, battery capacity, IP rating and warranty are per the manufacturer datasheet for the model quoted.
- Illuminance and spacing come from a lighting layout prepared for your site, not from a standard pole-to-pole figure.
Where this fits in our services
Solar Street Lighting
Solar street lights are standalone units in which a panel charges a battery during the day to run an LED luminaire at night, with no cabling back to a grid supply point.
Off-Grid Solar
An off-grid solar system stores generated energy in batteries so selected loads keep running without the grid. It suits locations with unreliable or unavailable supply, and costs more per kW than an on-grid system because of the battery and charge control.
